This page gives an overview the academic activities of Dr. Meinhard Breiling. They are related to research, teaching and finding technical innovations.
- Research focus is on interactions and linkages of global, regional and local changes, strategies to counter adverse development such as increased disaster frequencies or economic shocks induced by climate change.
- Taching covers courses in landscape architecture, improving natural resource use, tourism development in line with sustainability criteria, environmental design studios, as well as regional and rural planning.
- Innovations include authorship of the Austrian patent of the year 2016, the "artificial cloud" to produce man made snow in a natural way with less water and energy. Recently, the role of smart farming technologies in contributing to food security is evaluated.
